Insert non-CSS text

In Dreamweaver, you can insert non-CSS text using the ‘Insert Non-CSS Text’ tool. After inserting the text, you can format it using the ‘Properties’ panel. This tool is located in the Design tab.

The text box will be displayed in the head area of your HTML code. You can use this tool to add meta descriptions to your page. These descriptions are not displayed on the page itself but can make a difference in your site’s visibility in search engine results. Dreamweaver allows you to add meta descriptions to any page. It will display them differently on different search engines, so make sure to use the right one for your site.

Edit a WordPress theme in Dreamweaver

Dreamweaver is an excellent program to use for editing WordPress themes. Before editing a WordPress theme, you must install WordPress on your local web server. This server will be used as a testing environment. Once you install WordPress, you can use it to test changes without affecting the live website. You can use XAMPP or MAMP to install WordPress on Windows or Mac OS X.

Dreamweaver comes with a variety of templates. These templates are designed to be flexible and easy to use. Website owners often use templates to create a page quickly. However, higher customization requires more knowledge of coding. WordPress offers a content editor called Gutenberg, which allows you to create content. Although this editor is very basic, you can use plugins to expand your design options.
